SUSAN'S CERTIFICATION Level I - January, 1992 Reiki course and workshop dates are noted in my bi-monthly newsletter. Please feel free to email me for any of these dates or to be added to the newsletter group email list. These are offered in two-session lengths and are payable by cash or cheque. House calls are also available. Level I is offered approximately every two months and follows the traditional teachings of a 4-day intensive course typically held on a Thursday and Friday evening and a Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Please feel free to email me for the next course dates set up – a treatment with me is highly recommended prior to taking the course in order to create the energetic connection between teacher and student as well as to starting to allow for energy release. Level I can be taken again if a person would like to re-experience and review the course at a reduced cost. They will also be able to receive the attunements again in the review course. Sign me up. Kids'/Teens' courses are sometimes offered during spring break, summer vacation, and Christmas season – please contact me to find out if there is a class being held during these times, if interested. The minimum age of a student would be approximately 8 years of age. Level II is arranged individually as it is for an adult. Both Level I & II for kids and teens are also at a discounted cost. As I teach the traditional methods, Level II is taught one-on-one with the teacher and student and not in a class setting. A student must also wait 3 months after Level I, under the traditional teachings, to take their Level II training as there is a lot of energy shifting and integrating after taking the Level I course. Typically, it works well to set it up in three 3-hour sessions to be completed within a 2 week time frame. As part of the Level II package, distant healing workshops are offered monthly at no cost in order to sharpen their distant healing skills. Level II will be reviewed as a group course approximately every year in order to review the symbols, the information and use of them as well as reviewing and practicing the distant healing process. LEVEL III (MASTER APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM) The traditional Usui method is such that Level III is the teaching level – my teachers taught their Master students based on an apprenticeship program over the course of 10-12 months. I experienced and believe in the benefit of this apprenticeship program. I individualize the program for the student based on their experience in all facets of their Reiki background. All Master students would be required to have taken Level I & II through my teaching in order to acquire the full understanding of the apprenticeship. Reiki Mini-Workshops are held monthly in order to allow an opportunity to give treatments in order to practice their hands-on healing skills. Each person will also then receive treatments in order to further ones' own healing process. Distant Healing workshops are offered monthly at no cost as part of their Level II/III package who have taken their training with me. These workshops offer the opportunity for reinforcement, reassurance & confidence-building of the distant healing process with a review of the symbols and feedback afterwards. These workshops offer the opportunity for those who are pursuing and advancing as a Reiki practitioner to gain further knowledge with additional information, tips & techniques to gain more powerful results in their Reiki work. There are regular opportunities where other speakers and colleagues are brought in to host talks and workshops in order to educate & further expand awareness of their particular healing modalities & topics. |
